Your meter comes with the batteries already installed and a preset time and date. You may need to change the time to match your time zone or, if you live in an area that observes daylight saving time, to reflect the time change.

To change the time:

1. From the main menu, select Settings and press the enter key.
2. Select Time/Date and press the enter key.
3. Select the Time entry field and press the enter key.
4. Set the Hour and press the enter key.
5. Set the Minutes and press the enter key.
6. If Time Format is 12 hr, select am or pm and press the enter key.
7. To save the changes and return to the Settings Menu screen, select Save.

Changing the date is a similar process. Simply select the Date entry field in step 3 and set the day, month and year.
