How to use the Accu-Chek Compact Plus blood glucose meter

The Accu-Chek Compact Plus meter comes with pre-installed batteries and a pre-set time and date. It requires no coding. Just insert a test strip drum, and test.

5 simple steps for inserting or replacing a test strip drum

  1. Open drum compartment cover
  2. Press the red drum release button
  3. Tip the meter forwards so that the old test strip drum drops out
  4. Insert a new drum
  5. Close the drum compartment cover (automatic coding)

4 simple steps for testing blood glucose

  1. Slide and release the Test button to release a test strip
  2. Lance to obtain a blood sample
  3. Hold the meter so the test strip is pointing downwards. Apply your blood sample to the black notch of the test strip. Read the blood glucose result.
  4. Slide and release the Test button to eject the used test strip
